E-Man Is Home
by Her Ladyship injust to let everyone know that mike has returned home after 6 days in hospital.
he's had some extra surgery to his abdomen following his big operation last year - warranty work he calls it.
his tummy is now smooth again - even if it is temporarily as big as homer simpsons!.

Just to let everyone know that Mike has returned home after 6 days in hospital. He's had some extra surgery to his abdomen following his big operation last year - warranty work he calls it. His tummy is now smooth again - even if it is temporarily as big as Homer Simpsons!
He's feeling fine and healthy. I'm just happy to see his big grin lighting up the house once again.

Mmmmmm bread machines
by Lady Lee ini have a bread machine and have been experimenting with it this week.
my first breads were really dense and heavy.
they were ok but definitely not great.. so i went to the books and they said the liquids need to be lukewarm not cold from the fridge.. so after yet another white bread heavy i just tried a raisin bread recipe.. ok i'm addicted.

Can anyone tell me how easy it is to get the ingredients and how to get healthy ingredients like whole grain? Also someone mentioned leaving it on at night to be ready for breakfast - there's no risk of it burning or anything then?
Crumpet, try Allinsons Very Strong flour. Cheap flour produces horrible tasting bread. Super markets own brands are not to be recommended. Set your machine so that the bread is ready as soon as you awaken and remove it from the machine as soon as you possibly can, that way it will be much firmer and not at all soggy. If you leave it in the bread maker for too long after it's baked it won't be as nice.

am i backwards on this?
i work with people and ex husbands who profess to love god, and all the while when they are angry they ask for god's help to forgive people.

The ultimate in forgiveness is when we can forgive people who have never expressed sorrow for the hurt that they have caused us. I'm told that JWs only forgive when there is a high level of repentance. No wonder they are all so screwed up!They must have so much resentment inside them, I don't know how they can bear it. It must be an awfully unhappy religion.

Forgiveness is really no big deal. It's a very natural process that needs to be allowed to happen. It's only when we insist on hanging on to the hurt, or even worse, stating to an offender how hard we are trying to forgive them that we therefore become unwittingly self-righteous. In this manner we allow resentment to become embedded in our psyche. It's not natural to stay angry forever. Forgiving is automatic and doesn't need special effort if we just allow ourselves to experience it. It's a flower that just needs to be allowed to grow by itself.
